# TH18 Zap Throwers: Ground army

> Eleven Throwers behind a Lightning opening, and almost no pathing to plan.

Town Hall 18 · Ground · Three stars TH18.

Throwers arrived at TH16 and never left the meta, because they out range the defences that punish every other ground troop and they do it from behind a wall. At TH18 you run eleven of them behind a Lightning opening that removes the one building the pack cannot answer. The Super Barbarians and Healers build the funnel, the Druid keeps the pack alive through splash, and Totems do the work that used to take three Rages.

## How to attack with it

1. Lightning the Monolith or the air defence covering the side you are walking, using the castle spells before anything deploys.
2. Send the Super Barbarians and Super Wall Breakers to open the first compartment, Healers behind the King.
3. Deploy all eleven Throwers in a line along the wall, not in a clump.
4. Drop Totems on the compartment ahead of the pack and Overgrowth on the one you want it to ignore.
5. Ice Golems and Headhunters go last, on whichever side the enemy heroes are still alive.

## What beats it

Bases that bury the Monolith behind long open ground give Throwers nothing to shoot over, and the pack stalls where Scattershots reach it. Take the Meteor Golems instead.
