Ten Dragon Riders, no funnel worth speaking of, and the shortest learning curve at TH13.
The Dragon Rider unlocks at TH13 and it is the reason this level is the easiest jump in the game. Riders target defences and nothing else, which means the army walks itself: there is no funnel to build because there is no troop that can wander off into a storage. Ten of them arriving together kill an Inferno before it charges. This is the army to learn TH13 on, and it is still good enough to take into a TH14.

Seeking ShieldFills every camp and spell slot exactly, so nothing is wasted.
How to run it
- 1Put the three Baby Dragons on the outside so the Riders do not drift around the edge of the base.
- 2Drop all ten Dragon Riders across one side in a line, spread over about three compartments rather than one point.
- 3Rage them as the first defence in the core goes down, not while they are still crossing the outer ring.
- 4Freeze the single Inferno as it starts on a Rider, and hold the last Freeze for the Scattershot.
- 5Send the heroes in behind the Riders and trickle the Minions for the leftover outside buildings.
What beats it. Air Sweepers pointed at the side you picked slow the Riders enough for the Inferno to charge through them. Check which way both sweepers face before you commit to a side.
The other TH13 armies
Same camp space, different answer. Dragon Rider Spam is the one to drop when the base suits it, not the only one worth learning.
