Mass Dragons
Ten Dragons, three Rages, and the reason TH8 war weekends are decided in the air.
Dragons unlock at TH7 but TH8 is the first hall with the camp space to bring ten of them and the Spell Factory to Rage them properly. Nothing a TH8 base can put down kills a Dragon quickly, so the whole attack comes down to whether the pack stays together on the way in. Sent as one line into the side with the fewest Air Defences it walks through the base. Sent as a ring around the outside it clears collectors for three minutes and finishes on one star.

How to run it
- 1Find the side where two Air Defences are closest together and plan to walk through both.
- 2Drop all ten Dragons in a tight line across roughly three tiles, not spread across the edge of the base.
- 3Send the Barbarian King into the same side to soak the first defence and pull anything the Dragons walked past.
- 4Rage the pack as it crosses the first wall, then again over the second Air Defence, and keep the third for the core.
- 5Poison the Clan Castle troops as soon as they come out, because a defending Dragon or Wizards will otherwise chew the pack while the Air Defences are still up.
What beats it. Three Air Defences in a wide triangle with the Air Sweeper pointing at your entry. The pack slows, splits around the sweeper and loses the timing on every Rage. Take the Hogs into that base instead.
The other TH8 armies
Same camp space, different answer. Mass Dragons is the one to drop when the base suits it, not the only one worth learning.
