Thirty Hog Riders that jump every wall in the base and three Heals to keep them alive.
Hogs ignore walls, which at TH8 means the compartments most people spend their layout on do nothing at all. Thirty of them hit defences in the order they are placed, so the attack is decided by whether you sent them where the defences are clustered or where they are spread. It is faster than Dragons and much less forgiving: the whole group can die to two Giant Bombs, and the difference between a three star and a one star is usually one Heal dropped a second late.

How to run it
- 1Clear the outer buildings on one side with a few Minions so the Hogs are not distracted on the way in.
- 2Send the Wall Breakers only if a Wizard Tower sits behind a wall the Hogs will otherwise walk past.
- 3Drop the Hogs in a wide arc across the side with the most defences, never in a single clump, so one Giant Bomb cannot take half of them.
- 4Heal the moment the pack takes its first splash hit, and put the second Heal ahead of them rather than on them.
- 5Send both heroes and the Wizards behind the Hogs to clear the buildings they jump over, because Hogs alone never finish a base.
What beats it. Double Giant Bombs between defences. At TH8 they are the single thing that beats this army, and you cannot see them until they go off. If the base has obvious gaps between defences, split the Hogs into two groups and accept a slower attack.

Same camp space, different answer. Mass Hogs is the one to drop when the base suits it, not the only one worth learning.
